May Calendar & Sprint Race Calendar Now Available

The May 'Doodle Calendar' is now uploaded to our website. Please take a few minutes to update your availability for May. And remember that our next Clinic Day will be Saturday, May 6th. We should be on the water for this one. We expect to see everybody at this clinic (except for Kyle and Larry H. who have immovable conflicts).

Team Clinics & Team Calendar Update

We want to make sure that all rowers and coxswains have marked your calendars for our 3 TEAM Clinic Days during the 2017 season. The dates are Saturday 4/1, Saturday 5/6 and Saturday 9/16. The Team Clinic Days run from 6:30 A.M. - 12:30 P.M. These extended practices allow for the team to accelerate technical improvements through multiple on-water sessions followed by multiple video review sessions.

Races for 2017 - Corrections & Clarifications

I wanted to update the information that I posted yesterday. First, I got the dates a little off for the Master National Championships. The are August 17th - 20th. See Below.

Also, the Mayor's Cup has been cancelled for this year. So no early scrimmage/race in Providence.

And as of this date, there is still some consideration being given to having some of our younger rowers attend the Club National Championships in Bethel, Ohio, so those dates have been added below.

Hartford's Competitive Rowing Program

Welcome! This site provides information on opportunities for experienced masters rowers interested in competing with the Riverfront Recapture competitive rowing team based in Hartford, CT. Formalized in 2005, this team consists of both men and women rowers with varying backgrounds in the sport, with some rowing since their collegiate days and others joining the sport well into their adult years, but all committed to excellence and improvement.
